What the Discord is used for
The official server is linked from the Roblox game page's Social Links (verified via the official Roblox social-links API). The team uses it for:
- Update announcements — new content and events land here first (the launch itself, the Traits & Mutations and Volcano updates) — and where the team announced the September 24 development pause
- High-stakes bug bounties — 10,000 Robux for the first working duplication glitch report
- Anti-cheat enforcement — hack exploit reports and live moderation with the team
- Leaks — an official leaks channel with teasers of upcoming content
- Suggestions & bug reports — dedicated suggestions and bug-report forums
About YouTube
The game is built by the studio BIG GIANT FOOD, owned by the YouTuber steak (7.6M subscribers). His channel is the only official video source: the launch video "I made a new ROBLOX game.." documents the game going public and hitting ~7,900 concurrent players, and he streams Fishing Wars updates and admin events. The game itself has no separate official YouTube account.
Fishing Wars is developed by BIG GIANT FOOD. This wiki is an independent fan project — see About for more.
